Fort Wood Parking

Reserved Parking

All parking in Fort Wood District is reserved. UTC permits are not valid in the Fort Wood District.

Fort Wood Parking Permit

If you reside in the Fort Wood Parking District (800-999 Vine Street, 800-999 Oak Street, 800-999 Fortwood Street, or 500-599 Fortwood Place) you are required to purchase a parking permit if you wish to take advantage of on-street parking. The following information is needed on the permit: vehicle make, year, model, color, Tag#, State, individuals name and address, proof of residency, home and business phone number and name of Fort Wood employer. Once the application is approved, a sticker is issued and must be affixed to the rear left bumper.

The permit is renewed yearly and the cost for the yearly permit is $25.00.

Permits are issued to residents in the 800 and 900 blocks of Clark, Oak, Vine and Fort Wood Streets and the 500 block of Fort Wood Place ONLY.

*IF YOUR CAR IS NOT REGISTERED AT THE FORT WOOD ADDRESS, YOU MUST SHOW A COPY OF YOUR LEASE AGREEMENT OR A PIECE OF MAIL DISPLAYING IT*

Both Residences and Businesses will be allowed a MAXIMUM of 3 permits per address.

Residences refers to both single family and multiple occupancy units.

NOTE: Fort Wood Sticker must be placed on left rear bumper.


Fort Negley Parking

Fort Negley Parking Permit

Permits are issued to residents on Mitchell Avenue between East 16th Street to East 19th Street, Read Avenue between Rossville Avenue to East 19th Street, East 16th between Underwood Street and Mitchell Avenue, and East 17th Street from Underwood Street to Capella Street.

These streets are being designated as residential to help cut commercial parking in the residential area. If you qualify for low-income housing assistance, please let us know so that we can better work with you.

The permit is renewed yearly and the cost for the yearly permit is $25.00.

Permits are issued to residents on Mitchell Avenue between East 16th Street to East 19th Street, Read Avenue between Rossville Avenue to East 19th Street, East 16th between Underwood Street and Mitchell Avenue, and East 17th Street from Underwood Street to Capella Street.
Residences will be Allowed a MAXIMUM of 3 Permits per Address.
Residences Refer to both Single Family and Multiple Occupancy Units.
