On-street parking rates

Rates are set by time increment and go up to a 2-hour maximum stay. What you pay depends on which side of the Tennessee River you're parked on.

Northside (North Chattanooga)

Rates apply during posted meter hours only. Parking is free outside those hours unless otherwise signed. Maximum stay is 2 hours on both sides of the river.

On-street pay station

A multi-space kiosk serving several nearby spots.

  1. Press any key to begin.
  2. Follow the onscreen prompts.
  3. Pay with coins, credit (Visa, Discover, Mastercard, or American Express), or debit.
  4. Place your receipt face up on the dash of your vehicle.

Single-space meter

The individual meter at your specific spot.

  1. Insert coins until the display shows your desired amount of time (2-hour limit).
  2. or
  3. Insert a credit card, then use the arrow keys to scroll up or down and select your amount of time.

Parking lot pay station

Make note of your space number or license plate first.

  1. Press any key to begin.
  2. Follow the onscreen prompts to enter your license plate number or parking space number.
  3. Select your desired amount of time.
  4. Pay with coins, cash, or credit card — no change is given.

You don't need to display a receipt in your vehicle for this option.
