Five steps to remove the boot

Call 423-668-0135 to pay your outstanding parking fees plus a $75 boot fee. Have a valid credit or debit card ready.

A receipt with your six-digit boot release code will be emailed to you right after payment.

Enter the six-digit code on the keypad attached to the boot.

Listen for a click — that means it's unlocked. Slide the bar free of your wheel and remove the boot.

Drop the boot in a Boot Return Box within 24 hours and follow the instructions posted on the box.

Unpaid fees after 48 hours mean your vehicle can be towed. You'll be responsible for towing and storage costs.

Only a valid release code can unlock it safely. You're responsible for any damage or loss to the boot.

Don't leave the boot anywhere else — additional fees apply if it isn't returned within 24 hours.

Vehicles that stay immobilized/booted for more than 48 consecutive hours are towed. Here's how to find your vehicle and get it back.

48 hours immobilized/booted before a vehicle is towed

Contact the Chattanooga Parking Authority at 423-648-4031.

Pay all outstanding parking citations in full, or set up a payment plan with the Chattanooga Parking Authority at 423-648-4031.

Once your citations are paid or a payment plan is set up, the Parking Authority will provide you a release form for the tow company.

Bring your release form to the tow company and pay the towing fee plus any additional storage fees to get your vehicle back.
