If you live in the Fort Wood Parking District, you'll need a permit to use on-street parking.

- 800–999 Vine Street
- 800–999 Oak Street
- 800–999 Fortwood Street
- 500–599 Fortwood Place
What's needed on the application
- Vehicle make, year, model, and color
- Tag number and state
- Your name and address
- Proof of residency
- Home and business phone number
- Name of your Fort Wood employer, if applicable
If your car isn't registered at your Fort Wood address, bring a copy of your lease agreement or a piece of mail showing that address instead.
Once your application is approved, a sticker is issued and must be affixed to your rear left bumper. Renewal is due yearly. Residences and businesses are each capped at 3 permits per address; a residence includes both single-family and multiple-occupancy units.
Fort Negley parking
These streets are designated residential to cut down on commercial parking in the neighborhood.
Eligible streets
- Mitchell Avenue, between East 16th Street and East 19th Street
- Read Avenue, between Rossville Avenue and East 19th Street
- East 16th Street, between Underwood Street and Mitchell Avenue
- East 17th Street, from Underwood Street to Capella Street
